The age to get a NZ drivers licence is now 16.

What does this mean to you if you are 15 and on a Learners or Restricted licence?

With the age now at 16 to get a Learners licence in NZ what about all those on Learners licences and aged 15. How will it effect then? now they have to wait until they are 16½ before they can sit their Full licence.

There are a few exemptions avaliable but these need to be lodge with NZTA on the appropriate form and with the appropriate fee.
