Street Talk

• Street Talk is the New Zealand Transport Agency developed and approved course of advanced driving skills to reduce the restricted licence period by 6 months for the under 25 year old driver, and 3 months for those over 25 years old.

• Street Talk gives you the skills to be an " In - control driver ". It consists of a course of approximately ten to twelve hours which encourages you to consider: *risk perception *risk management *self reflection *decision making *goal setting and monitoring.

• Street Talk graduates can also be credited with Unit Standard 3464 on the NZQA qualifications framework.

• Street Talkis a course that provides drivers with an opportunity to learn new safety skills. It will also help them better understand and cope with risk as drivers, to be aware of their own performance as a driver and to bring out improvement in their driving if necessary.

• Street Talk has been designed to be interesting and challenging to a wide range of ages and groups of drivers, with a particular focus on drivers up to 25 years of age.

Course Prerequisite
If you are under 25 yrs of age you must have held your Class One Restricted Licence form at least six months prior to enrolling in the Street Talk Course.

If you are over 25 yrs of age you may enrol in the Street Talk Courses immediately you have you Class One Restricted Licence

Course dates
PassRite's Street Talk course are run monthly and commence on the first Wednesday of each month. They run over four evenings (Wednesday, Monday, Wednesday & Monday) form 6pm tp 9.30pm
