BASIC HANDLING SKILLS COURSE
The Basic Handling Skills Certificate is a prerequsit in obtaing your Motorcycle learners licence (6L).
PassRite is proud to be association with Bluewing Honda in conducting these courses at PassRite's indoor training centre in Onehunga on Saturdays and in the evenings, for smaller groups of 3.
Motorcycle Basic Handling Skills course include:
1. How to walk your motorcycle safely
2. How the brakes work
3. How to start your engine
4. How to control the Throttle (accelerator) and the Clutch
5. How to use your Indicators
6. How to balance while riding slowly in a straight line
7. How to balance while weaving slowly through a line of cones
8. How to stop from 20 Kph
Handling Skills Cerificate
On successful completion of our training programme you will be issued with a certificate, which you will need to take to a testing agent and sit the theory test for your Class 6 learners licence. You are NOT licenced to ride on the road until you have gained your Class 6 learners licence.

What do we need to attend this course?
Nothing - we will provide you with everything that you need. The bikes are 2009 Honda CRF230's and are sponsored by Bluewing Honda.

We recommend you wear suitable clothing for weather conditions and heavy shoes or boots.
